November Workday

  • Keller Rose Garden 640 Johnson Road Keller, TX, 76248 United States (map)

Keller Garden Club maintains the following gardens in the City of Keller: Rose Garden at Friends of the Library, Pollinator Garden at Keller Pointe, Garden Bed at Keller Library, Xeriscape Garden at Bear Creek Park, and Memorial Garden at Mt. Gilead Memorial Cemetery.

November Workday is a Compost Day: Help Us Enrich Our Gardens!

This month, we spread over 110 bags of nutrient-rich compost to the gardens we maintain across Keller. We were thrilled to see several new members join us for the workday, bringing fresh energy and helping hands. Healthy soil is the foundation of every thriving garden, and compost plays a vital role in enriching the soil, enhancing water retention, and supporting robust plant health!

Much appreciation to the City of Keller Parks and Recreation staff for supporting the Compost Crew by picking up the compost bags and helping to strategically place bags in the various garden areas.

After the workday, some of us gathered at Sunny Side Café for some much-deserved nourishment and great company. Thank you to everyone who joined in to make this day so productive and fun. Our gardens are ready to thrive thanks to your hard work! 💪🌻
