Celebrate Texas Arbor Day with Keller Garden Club's Tree Planting Event
Join the Keller Garden Club as they celebrate Texas Arbor Day with a special tree planting event on Wednesday, November 6th at 9:30 a.m. The event will take place at the Pollinator Garden, adjacent to Keller Pointe, located at 405 Rufe Snow Drive. This year’s celebration, in collaboration with the City of Keller—recognized as a Tree City USA community—will include the planting of two drought-tolerant desert willows. Cameron Scott from Bartlett Tree Services, a forestry expert from Purdue University, will address issues such as tree selection, planting preparation, root ball management, placement, fertilization, watering, and ongoing care. Plus, attendees will have the opportunity to take home free tree seedlings, generously provided by Bartlett Tree Experts. This is a family-friendly event and everyone is welcome!
A special thank you to the partners who made this event possible:
City of Keller – A recognized Tree City USA community committed to promoting urban forestry.
Bartlett Tree Experts – Industry leaders in tree and shrub care, who are supporting this event by providing free seedlings and expert advice.
We hope to see you at this year’s Texas Arbor Day celebration in Keller. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting to appreciate the wonders of trees, this event is a great way to connect with nature, learn new skills, and make a positive impact in your community.
Mark your calendar for November 6th and come help us plant a greener tomorrow!
